古典詩歌的詩歌劇教學探析

摘要


古典詩歌課程除了培養詩歌鑑賞能力、陶冶性情之外,如何轉化詩歌成為創作的力量,也是值得關注的議題。為增進大學詩選課程的創意應用,論者提出「詩歌劇」並進行教學。所謂的詩歌劇,是以古典詩歌的閱讀為基礎,重視詩歌在戲劇的轉化運用,其內涵是結合詩與劇、唱詞與戲劇。本論文分四部分,先說明詩歌劇教學的單元設計與實施過程,繼而從理論與實務兩方面開展詩歌劇的內涵。從中國傳統詩歌與戲劇的關聯、唱詞在戲劇的功能,建立詩歌劇實施的理論基礎;再從劇本的編寫、唱詞的取用、曲調的運用三方面,結合實例說明詩歌劇創作的要領。最後進行教學成果分析,從學生的作品、問卷與學習心得,探究其實施的效益。研究指出,製作詩歌劇有助於對古典詩歌的體會,拓寬看待詩歌的視角;詩歌結合唱曲,有助於體會聲情與表現劇情之美;詩歌劇教學有助於詩歌創意運用能力的建立。以此印證詩歌劇教學單元的可行性。

Developing students' ability to appreciate poetry and cultivating their minds are two important objectives of Classical Chinese Poetry courses. On the other hand, how to foster students' ability to creatively adapt poetry in such courses is also a topic worth exploring. The researcher proposes the application of poetry play - an innovative approach to teaching poetry - in a Chinese poetry class. Poetry plays combine poetry, libretto, and drama; and its teaching is based on readings in classical Chinese poetry and the adaptation of poetry in drama. This paper is divided into four parts: the first part discusses the design and implementation of lesson plans for a poetry play class, which is followed by an interpretation of poetry play from both theoretical and practical perspectives; the second part attempts to build a theoretical foundation for implementing poetry play by elaborating upon the link between traditional Chinese poetry and drama as well as the role that libretto plays in drama; the third part outlines three main aspects of poetry play creation : script writing, libretto selection, and application of melody; and the fourth part presents outcomes of teaching poetry play and explores the effects of implementing poetry play in class through analyzing students' works, surveys, and course reflection papers. Results of the research indicate that the writing of poetry plays can facilitate students' comprehension of classical poetry and broaden their perspectives in understanding poetry. Further, through blending poetry and chanting in poetry plays, students will better appreciate the voice and emotion in drama as well as show the beauty of plots. Moreover, poetry play teaching may foster ability to creatively adapt poetry. All these findings lend support to the feasibility of designing and adopting poetry play to expand the breadth of courses in Chinese poetry.
