國內期刊國際化之影響：以工業工程學刊為例

摘要

國家圖書館在2013 年9 月啟用臺灣人文及社會科學引文索引系統(TCI)，涵蓋TSSCI 與THCI 收錄期刊引用資訊。本研究利用TCI 檢索，分析工業工程學刊被引用情形。工業工程學刊論文被TSSCI 期刊引用者，64.7%是期刊自我引用，且其中的48.9%是作者自我引用，被其他作者引用於期刊其他刊物者僅19.1%。工業工程學刊論文被TCI 期刊引用者，45.3%是期刊自我引用，被其他作者引用於其他刊物者為40.2%。以上事實說明：工業工程學刊在國內人文學之重要性，高過在社會科學之重要性。本研究藉由分析引用工業工程學刊之國內論文，說明工業工程學刊全英文化之結果，將大幅降低它為國內人文社會學介紹數量方法之功能。台灣國內期刊走向國際化與全英文化潮流的結果，卻也削弱它們對國內人文社會學研究的影響力。此事實值得國內人文社會科學期刊注意。

The Taiwan Citation Index system of the National Central Library began operating in 2013. The TCI system contains both TSSCI and THCI. We find that of the JCIIE papers cited by TSSCI, 64.7% were cited by JCIIE (48.9% of which were the result of author self-citation), and only 19.1% were cited by other authors in other journals. Among papers cited by TCI, 45.3% were cited in the JCIIE, and 40.2% were cited by other authors in other journals. This indicates that JCIIE is more important to humanities specialists than those working in the social sciences. We argue that the new policy of accepting only English papers will diminish the role of new technology in humanities research. This fact merits the attention of all domestic academic journals in the field of social sciences and humanities.
