論文作者人數與作者累積篇數：商管科技季刊被引用分析

The Number of Authors and the Number of Papers: Citation Status of the Commerce and Management Quarterly

摘要

商管科技季刊在2000年創刊，至2014年第三季共發行595冊，由600位作者貢獻327篇論文。本研究統計商管科技季刊論文被TSSCI期刊引用之比率是15.6%，平均引用頻率是0.226。被所有期刊引用之比率是40.7%，平均引用頻率是0.893。商管科技季刊之最高產量之作者是七篇，但檢定結果顯示作者累積發表篇數與該作者被引用機率或被引用頻率無關。被TSSCI期刊引用次數最高者是林鉦棽與蕭淑月（2005）被引用七次，但該作者在商管科技季刊僅發表一篇論文。進一步檢定發現：單一作者之被引用比率或被引用頻率，高於二位作者合箸論文，且又高於三位或四位作者合箸之論文。本研究為部分作者高產量卻低引用率之現象提出解釋，並且為提升商管科技季刊提出政策建議，希冀提升被引用率。最後，本研究提出學術論文引用行為學假說，解釋一位或二位作者合箸論文存在較高之被引用機會。

Commerce and Management Quarterly was established in 2000 and it has published 59 issues till the third quarter of 2014. There have been 600 authors contributing 327 papers in CMQ. This study finds that 15.6% of the papers have been cited by TSSCI journals and the average frequency is 0.0226. The citation ratio by all journals is 40.7% and the corresponding average citation frequency is 0.893. The most productive authors contributed 7 papers for CMQ, however, this research reveals no significant relation between the citation status and the author production. The highest frequency of being cited by TSSCI journals is 7 times, the corresponding paper was contributed by two authors, who contributed only one paper in the CMQ. This paper finds that there is significant relation between a paper’s number of authors and its citation status. Single-author papers are more likely to be cited than double-author papers, which in turns are more likely than papers written by three or four authors. This study examines why some productive authors cannot get citation. We propose suggest to CMQ in order to promote its citation status. In addition, we advance a behavioral hypotheses of writing academic papers to justify why papers written by two authors are more likely to be cited.
