南北越學習者對於華－越語聲調相似度的認知探究

On the cognition of Mandarin-Vietnamese tonal similarity between Southern and Northern Vietnamese

摘要

本研究以問卷調查方式探討來自南、北越的華語學習者對於華-越語聲調相似度比較的認知。問卷結果顯示南越和北越的學習者對於華語四個聲調和越南語聲調之間的相似度存在認知上的差異，造成差異的原因主要歸因於兩個越南語方言聲調系統的內部差異，顯示學習者進行聲調相似度的比較時不僅考量聲調實際的調型、調值，同時也考量整體聲調系統中聲調彼此的相對關係。問卷結果為南、北越南華語學習者一致的偏誤類型提出合理的解釋，並且指出南、北越學習者表現的偏誤形式雖然相同，影響偏誤的來源卻不同。

This study investigated the cognition of Southern and Northern Vietnamese learners of Mandarin concerning the tonal similarity between Mandarin and Vietnamese. Subjects were asked to judge the similarity of each Mandarin tone to Vietnamese tones via questionnaire. The results revealed two significant findings. First, the two groups of Mandarin learners showed different cognition of Mandarin-Vietnamese tonal similarity due to the detailed differences between Southern and Northern Vietnamese. It indicated that when making a similarity judgment, learners took not only the acoustic and perceptual properties of tones but also the relative relation among the tones in the system into consideration. Second, although both groups of Vietnamese learners performed similar error patterns, their errors were attributed to different affecting factors.
