摘要

雖然黑暗觀光一詞出現不久，但人們喜歡到死亡發生地旅遊卻不是新的現象。相關研究大多從供給面探討各種黑暗景點，遊客動機的討論較少。因此，本研究目的爲，探討遊客參訪自然災難景點之動機，以分析黑暗觀光的現象。本研究採問卷調查法，以921地震教育園區爲例，調查參訪園區的遊客，共計回收有效問卷394份。結果顯示，前往地震教育園區的遊客，其最重要的動機爲地震學習與體驗。透過集群分析，區分出旅遊動機及旅遊行爲有明顯差異的四個群體，其中的知識導向群對黑暗觀光有較濃厚的興趣。本個案似乎符合Sharply(2005)的黑色觀光，但本研究建議，不應僅從死亡興趣來判定遊客的黑暗觀光需求，尚有些複雜的個人因素必需考量。

Although the term-dark tourism-has emerged relatively recent, the phenomenon that people travel to the sites associated with death is not new. Most of the relative research discusses a variety of dark spots from the supply side, but the motivations of visitors are rarely investigated. This study is therefore to identify the motivations of visitors to the site of nature disaster. The survey method was adopted, and the vistors to 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan were interviewed with questionnaire. A total of 394 questionnaires were collected. The results indicate that the most important motivations for visitors to the museum were learning and experiencing earthquakes. The respondents were clustered into four distinguishable groups in terms of travel motivations and behavior, of which the knowledge-oriented group showed more interests in dark tourism. The studied case seems to corresponde with the black tourism proposed by Sharply (2005). However, this research suggests that the tourist demand for dark tourism should not be measured only with their interest in death. It is needed to consider some other complex personal factors.
