摘要

測量之基準與參考框架，是各種圖資之整合與不同系統之配置成功與否的重要因素。如同世界其他各地，在歷史之演進中，台灣地區隨著時間之變遷，曾使用過多個測量基準。以近年之圖資而言，TWD67與TWD97為應用上最重要者。本文嘗試以盡量嚴謹之方式，同時避免使用複雜數學公式，綜論TWD67與TWD97之定義與差異，並討論兩者為何會不同。亦就TWD67與TWD97間之轉換，進行介紹。

The datum and reference frame are important factors when integrating spatial information from various sources. Following the same track as other areas in the world, several mapping datum and reference frames have been used in Taiwan through time. However, TWD67 and TWD97 have been the most important mapping datum in Taiwan for the past 30 years. This paper discusses the issues related to the definitions and differences of these two mapping datum, while avoiding inclusion of complicated mathematical formulae. The transformation between these two datum is also discussed.
