A New Smartphone Privacy Protection Scheme Based on Anti-theft Technology

摘要


現今行動裝置使用的戲劇性增長,正代表著進入高速發展的年代。然而,行動裝置被盜竊與遺失已是全球的重要議題。此研究主題著眼點主要探討行動裝置於遺失後,怎樣保護個人資料,如相片、短訊內容及聯絡資料,其研究重點放在針對現有功能及軟體弱點,並運用英特爾防盜服務之運作理論,從而創作出一個對行動裝置更安全的保護方案。

The dramatic growth of smartphone used nowadays has been a great sign of rapid-developing era. However, losing or stolen smartphone are becoming a crucial issue all over the world. This research mainly focuses on how to protect user's personal information such as photos, SMS and contacts after the phone is lost. Focusing on the existing functions and weaknesses of software and working principles of Intel's anti-theft service, the concepts are applied and created a new and safer protection scheme for smartphones.
