桃園縣國中教師提前退休之社會壓力因素質性研究

A Qualitative Study on the Causes of the Earlier Retired Junior High School Teachers in Taoyuan County

摘要


本研究主要是探討國民中學教師提前退休的因素。許多研究結果皆指出,教學經驗與班級經營的效能呈現正相關,中等教育的前期,是學生身心變化劇烈的階段,老師對於學生的影響既深遠也重要。然而現狀卻是老師提前退休已然蔚為風潮。根據文獻探討的結果發現,包括「個人因素」、「退休制度變革因素」以及「社會壓力因素」等,本研究為探求此現象背後的因素,瞭解教師內心的真實成受與知覺,採質性研究之取徑,以半結構的方式,訪談三位桃園縣提前退休的國中教師作為資料蒐集的方式。研究結果發現,教師之所以提前退休,除去個人因素之外,社會壓力因素是主要的推力,顯示出教師工作環境的不友善,值得重視。

The purpose of this research is to explore the causes of the earlier retired junior high school teachers in Taoyuan. There is a growing trend towards earlier retirement of teachers. Teachers have the influence of students; however, many experienced teachers have determined to apply for the retirement from teaching. This is a qualitative study through in-depth interviews with three teachers. The finding has been obtained from analysis of the data collected: 1. Besides individual ones, among all of the causes of the earlier retired teachers, the working pressure and stress from students, students' parents and the external supervision influence the teachers greatly. 2.The atmosphere of the task environment of junior high teachers gradually becomes unfriendly.
