本研究主要是探討桃園縣國民中學個案教師提前退休的因素,以及退休生活的適應情形。在提前退休的因素方面,包括「個人因素」、「退休制度變革因素」,以及「社會壓力因素」等,本研究為探求此現象背後的因素,瞭解教師內心的真實感受與知覺,採質性研究之取徑,以半結構的方式,訪談三位桃園縣提前退休的國中教師作為資料蒐集的方式。研究結果發現,教師之所以提前退休,主要係因為個人因素與社會壓力因素使然,歷年實證研究所指,預期退休制度改變而申請提前退休者,在本研究中並無具體發現。 在退休生活適應情形方面,在退休的初期,未妥善安排規劃生活者,出現不適應的情形;反之,則能順利安然度過。在生理適應方面,普遍重視身體健康,透過運動及戒除不良生活習慣,來達到養生保健的目的。同時透過宗教信仰、志工服務與二度就業,增加了與社會接觸的層面,消彌心理上的孤獨感,也從中獲得對自我的肯定,更可見得對於退休者之重要性;在經濟所得方面,一致表示金錢無虞,但對於投資行為也都採取保守的心態。
The purpose of this research is to explore the causes of the earlier retired junior high school teachers in Taoyuan,and how their life adaptation are. There is a growing trend towards earlier retirement of teachers. Teachers have the influence of students; however, many experienced teachers have determined to apply for the retirement from teaching. This is a qualitative study through in-depth interviews with three teachers . The following findings have been obtained from analysis of the data collected: 1. The causes of the earlier retired teachers include individual ones and the working pressure and stress from students, students’ parents, colleague, even press. 2. Both of the female participants in the study show the unadapted experiences which were about their initial stages of retirement; however, the only male participant was on the contrary. 3. In the terms of Physical Adaptation, all of the participtants place lots of importance on health care, remove some habits which are harmful to health, and do exercise regularly and continuously. 4. Besides taking up another new job, the retired teachers also can have social contacts by taking part in volunteer service and religious activities. 5. All of the participants seems in the least concerned for a fortune, just because the pension can meet their daily needs.In addition, they make a investment or manage their finances with a conservative attitude.
