通用設計環境課程應用問題導向學習教學之研究-以南亞技術學院為例

摘要


室內設計系一般課程大多以傳統單向講課方式授課,較為忽略學生在課堂上的反應與問解決能力的教導。因此,本研究試圖了解應用問題導向學習(PBL)的教學方式對於室內設計系課程的教學成效。本研究以南亞技術學院選修通用設計環境課程學生為對象,透過問卷調查及半結構式訪談,探討學生在PBL教學時課間表現與反應及專業學習成效。研究結果顯示,PBL教學的學生在課堂上的學習情形較傳統單向講授模式更為認真專注,學生認同PBL教學對於基本與專業能力與素養有提升,課前具備基礎相關知能對於PBL教學的實施是必要的。此外,學生也認為應該將PBL教學法推展到室內設計的設計課程。

Most of the general courses in the interior design departments are taught in traditional one-way lectures which ignore students’ responses in the classroom and their ability to solve problems. This study attempts to understand the effectiveness of the application of problem-based learning (PBL) method to the interior design courses. This study focuses on the students of the Nanya Institute of Technology who take the Universal Space Design course. The performance of students and their learning results of professional practice knowledges in PBL teaching activities are explored through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The results show that the students in PBL teaching activities are more serious than in the traditional one-way teaching mode. Students also agree that PBL teaching method can promote their basic and professional abilities and literacy that can increase their future employment opportunities. It is necessary for students to have basic relative knowledge before class to implement PBL teaching. In addition, students recognize that the PBL teaching method should be extended to the design courses of interior design departments.
