PBL在大學國文課程中的應用與反思

APPLICATION AND REFLECTION OF PBL IN COURSE OF CHINESE IN UNIVERSITY

摘要


在大學「國文」課程中,以白蛇變人的民間故事為背景,編寫PBL教案:〈變人──從白蛇精到白娘子〉,以四週的時間實施。實施結果,學生們在「知識性」的問題上表現良好,經小組討論合作,都能完成資料蒐集找到文本出處。但在涉及理性價值判斷的「人性」問題上,學生們多半未能深入思考,回答過於簡略淺顯。在改寫故事以讀者身分參與再創作方面,也缺少「文學美感」的表現。反思國文課程中應用PBL的結果,發現「學科性質的差異」,對PBL的成效會造成很大的影響。客觀知識的學習,可以應用PBL得到良好成效;但在「建立有深度的價值觀」及「美感薰陶」方面,學生們還是需要一位好老師來引領啟發。可知,任何一種教學方法或學習模式,都有其優點與缺點;教師在課程上採用時,不宜盲從,應理性判斷抉擇。

In course of "Chinese" in university, based on folk story in which White Snake was transformed into human being, this study constructed PBL lesson plan "Transformation to Human Being: From White Snake to Bai Suzhen". The plan was implemented in four weeks. According to result of implementation, students performed well in questions of "knowledge". After group discussion, they could accomplish data collection and recognize the origins of texts. However, regarding the issue of "humanity" related to judgment of rational value, students mostly did not have profound thinking. Their answers were simple and shallow. As to revision of story, the re-creation as readers, they lacked the performance of "literary aesthetics". According to reflection on PBL application in course of Chinese, it shows that "difference of subject attributes" significantly influences effectiveness of PBL. Objective knowledge learning can lead to positive outcome by PBL; however, as to "construction of in-depth values" and "cultivation of aesthetics", students need the inspiration of good teachers. Hence, all instructional methods or learning models include advantages and disadvantages. Teachers should not blindly adopt them in the courses and they should conduct reasonable judgment and selection.
