吟詩依字行腔之論析
On Reciting Poetry Using the Original Tones of the Lyrics

Reciting poetry is one of the ways to appreciate poetry. It depends on accurately pronouncing the lyrics in a poem to convey the messages encoded in the poem. Accuracy of pronunciation of the tones of the lyrics must be taken care of. If we can recite a poetry based on the onsets, rhymes and tones of the lyrics, we can not only relay our messages but also appreciate the beauty of the sounds of the lyrics. This paper analyzes the phonological structure of lyrics in a poem and different ways of recital, in order to explain how we can recite a poem using the original tones of the lyrics.
