摘要

清代紅樓戲展現的共同審美趨向，反映了清末雅部崑劇的審美品味：一方面其改編取向傾向「抒情造境」，著重於意境的抒發與情感的凝定；一方面重視文本藝術性甚於劇場表演性，富有較強的案頭賞玩性。於是，情節的組織、主題的提煉與人物的塑造等方面往往為清末紅樓戲所忽略。刊行於道光年間的陳鍾麟《紅樓夢傳奇》，為清代紅樓戲晚期的代表劇作。本文試著將陳著放在清代紅樓戲改編史上來觀察，指出其有別於其他紅樓戲的三大特色，並從情節設計與題材開拓兩方面定位其於紅樓戲改編史上的意義。陳著不僅開啟了其後紅樓戲的改編探路，並為它們提供了許多可資開展的空間，頗有示範與借鑑意義。

The aesthetic trend commonly shown in Red Chamber opera of the Qing dynasty reflects the aesthetics of the Yabu kunqu of the late years of the Qing dynasty. On the one hand, its adaptation trend of ”conveying emotion to create ambience” was mainly focused on the creation of ambience and the concentration of emotion. On the other hand, Red Chamber opera pays more attention to the artistry of the libretto than to its stage performance, so it generates more fun when being read at a desk. Consequently, the organization of the plot, the refinement of the theme and the portrayal of the characters were often put on the back burner by Red Chamber opera of the late years of the Qing dynasty. ”The Legend of the Dream of the Red Chamber”, written by Chen Zhonglin and published during the rule of the Daoguang Emperor, is one of the representative works of the late Qing dynasty's Red Chamber opera. This thesis attempts to observe Chen's work in the context of the adaptation history of the Qing dynasty's Red Chamber opera, point out the three primary characteristics that distinguish it from other Red Chamber operas, and define its significance in the adaptation history of Red Chamber opera through the two aspects of plot design and the search for new material. Serving as a paradigm, not only did Chen's work help blaze the trail of the adaptation of other Red Chamber operas but also provided many directions for them to develop further.
