The Study of ZnO Nanostructures Applied on Ultraviolet Sensor

並列摘要

In this study, we have prepared two different types of ZnO nanostructures to apply on ultraviolet sensor. Those are included that nano thin film and nanorods. The ZnO nano thin films were prepared on corning glass substrates by doctor blade method. The ZnO seed layers were prepared on corning glass substrates by RF magnetron sputtering, and the ZnO nanorods were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The wavelength of ultraviolet light used in this study is 365nm. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) reveal that all ZnO nanostructures have good ZnO phase. In the analysis of field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), the ZnO nano thin film has porous structure, and the nanorods have good morphology. The length of ZnO nanorod is 1.99μm. The measurements of current-time for ultraviolet sensors reveal that the period of ZnO nano thin film and nanorods is 429 seconds and 360 seconds, respectively. The maximum photo current of ultraviolet sensors based on ZnO nano thin film and nanorods is 0.62μA and 37.8μA, respectively. These results indicate that ZnO nanorods have the better current resolution and the shorter period than ZnO nano thin films, and are suitable to be applied on ultraviolet sensor.
