This research aims to talk about the involvement of slow pitch players in competitions by designing questionnaires for the players of year 2009's Taichung city Fall Slow Pitch Softball League Game, 429 players from 15 teams in total. The purpose is to understand the involvement of slow pitch players in competitions and is also in the hope of offering the administrative authority advice when it comes to the establishment of regulations of slow pitch. Softball Results indicate the following: First, 70% of the questionnaire takers pay the team-associated fees regularly. Second, Over 60% of the questionnaire takers use exclusive venues as their locations for daily practice or games. Third, Over 90% of the questionnaire takers does slow pitch on holidays in the hope of the betterment of their physical and mental conditions other than just to kill time. Forth, Over 60% of the questionnaire takers practice with players on the same team, showing slow pitch is more concerned with team work, not individuality.
