中華職業棒球聯盟球隊數及經營權轉換對競爭均衡之影響

摘要

本研究目的旨在透過競爭均衡的觀點，探討1990至2012年間中華職業棒球聯盟競爭均衡之情況，並以球隊數之增減、球團經營權之轉換及興農牛「本土化」等事件為標的，探究其競爭均衡變化之情形。本研究之方法以勝率標準差之計算方式探討競爭均衡變化情形。研究結果顯示：中華職棒聯盟球團經營權轉移之後，接手的經營管理的球團較為確定的情況下，聯盟的競爭會較趨於均衡；球隊數增加會造成了聯盟競爭較為不均衡的情況出現；興農牛隊之「本土化政策」後，造成了競爭均衡較為不均衡的情況。

The main purpose of this study was to examine the competitive balance issue of Chinese Professional Baseball League, and compared the competitive balance issue about different team amount; ownership transferred and team policy of Sinon Bulls. The statistical method of Standard deviation of winning percentages was applied to compare the competitive balance during the period from 1990 to 2012. The result showed that: 1. There was greater competitive balance as the ownership of baseball club was confirmed and vice versa. 2. The competition was more imbalance as new teams joining the League. 3. The competition was more imbalance after the new policy of Sinon Bulls.
