大學生參與服務學習動機、核心元素與公民參與之關聯性

The Correlations among the Motivation, Core Factors and Civil Engagement for Participating in Service-Learning of College Students

摘要


本研究旨在探討大學生參與服務學習之、核心元素與公民參與的相關性。本研究以台灣地區之大學生為研究對象,抽取41所學校1,113名大學生,分析研究結果顯示:服務學習動機與核心特質之各因素間具有顯著的典型相關;服務學習動機與公民參與之各因素間具有顯著的典型相關;服務學習核心特質與公民參與之各因素間具有顯著的典型相關。最後,根據本實證結果,提出建議及後續研究方向供參考。

This purpose of this study explored the relationship among the motivation, core character and civil engagement of college students for participating service-learning at 41 colleges and universities of technology in Taiwan. This data was obtained by questionnaire survey, with 1113 effective responses from participants. The results of this study show: (1) There is canonical correlation between the relationship of motivation and core character of college students for participating service-learning. (2)There is canonical correlation between the relationship of motivation and civil-engagement of college students for participating service-learning. (3) There is canonical correlation between the relationship of core character and civil engagement of college students for participating service-learning. Finally, based on the results of the research, some suggestions and future study are given.
