摘要

教育部國語推行委員會所編纂的「重編國語辭典修訂本」在現今看來，有許多值得商榷之處，這當然與時空背景的改變、社會觀念的進步以及學術研究的日新月異等因素有關。當時的撰寫環境不若現今自由開放，不止會受到中國國民黨政權的管制與干擾，在參考文獻的取得與運用上也有諸多不便，頗有值得諒解之處。本文秉持著野人獻曝之忱，針對辭典中的用字遣詞以及釋文與例句之內容等各個層面提出拙見，希望能有拋磚引玉之作用，也期待負責單位早日能夠網羅各學門優秀的專家學者，全面爬梳剔抉，大刀闊斧的重新審訂辭典內容，釐清定義與觀念，改正不當用語與敘述，使其能夠在前人累積的豐厚成果之上，更上一層樓，提供給各界使用者更為正確且符合時代需求的網路辭典。

The ”Revised Mandarin Chinese Dictionary” is written by the National Languages Committee Executive, Ministry of Education, Executive Yuan in Taiwan. It is the most popular Mandarin and Taiwanese dictionary in Taiwan. However, there are some mistakes in the explanation of these entries such as inappropriate term and improper definition. Some entries also should be increased and some must be deleted. The reasons of these situations include ideological state apparatuses of KMT, conservative social climate, not enough understanding of Taiwanese history, etc. I expect the dictionary can early to be revised comprehensively.
