摘要

馮夢龍編選之《三言二拍》中〈白娘子永鎮雷峰塔〉流傳久遠，歷來有很多不同版本，對於主要人物白娘子評論甚多。何滿子曾評論白娘子作為蛇精的可怖形象，本論文即以此評論作為討論的起始點，用〈白娘子永鎮雷峰塔〉圍繞的這些設問而加以回應。論文最後析論〈白娘子永鎮雷峰塔〉作為《警世通言》之選篇，其和六朝志怪之差別，由此作為開端再深入說明如何透過白娘子現形與不現形時與許宣之關係，釐清其中所內涵的寓意。藉由上開性別意識之詮釋，試圖打開這個著名話本的新時代意義。
