做為一個現代企業，一定要有一套自己的企業識別體系，而其中包含著標誌與標準字等。所謂企業標準字體係指針對某一公司、行號或機關所做的一種特殊文字設計之意，藉由文字造型與意象等能讓大眾對企業產生良好且深刻的印象。標準字在企業識別體系的範疇中扮演著重大的角色，由於在視覺上具有簡潔有力的文字性質，可直接讓大眾快速達到簡單易懂的效果，時至今日已達到與標誌同等的地位，甚至有超過的趨勢。由此可知，由文字造型所構築而成的標準字體，已在企業識別體系中佔有一席之地，同時受企業所重視。企業標準字的設計與出發點主要是根據某企業所生產的商品或其經營風格、理念、組織及精神有關，當然在做字體設計時就必須針對文字的造型、字體的大小、字裡行間的距離等做統一且完整的規劃與設計。企業標準字不同於印刷體與書法體，一般的印刷體或書法體，前者只是較為注重排列而已，而後者則具有一些傳統的韻味，所以並不是適合於全部的企業所用，相對地，企業標準字除以上所提之規範外，在視覺設計上亦必須做相當的修正與調整，尤其是文字除深具企業內涵外，也必須達到文字造型本身之平衡、和諧及統一等美感。本研究案主要協助榮勝工程行建立企業整體形象與知名度。期望透過協助榮勝工程行設計公司之標準字，加強榮勝工程行服務品質，並提升公司品牌之整體對外形象表現。整篇分為緒論、文獻探討、研究方法、預定目標達成及結論來銓釋標準字的形成與建立企業標準字的規範。
