《西遊記》火難中的物質書寫

摘要

本文爬梳《西遊記》，整理相關的火難情節，共計八次，在「遇難―解難」的大結構下，又因寶物的出現與失去而有不同的情節發展。物與物之間因「相生相剋」產生連結，使得情節環環相扣，也埋下伏筆，成為推動情節的關鍵。《西遊記》的火難主軸，實由孫悟空、太上老君與「八卦爐」三者交互而生，而後衍生出一連串「神」、「魔」之間的鬥法較勁。從全書火難分布的回目與相隔回數觀察，可見其出現頻率高低不一，於結構安排多有用心之處。而後將八次火難中的物質，依其產生方式分為三類：人為生火、寶物生火、法術生火，在不同的類別中，其功能皆為產生火以造成攻擊或阻礙。面對火難，敵火物質相應而生，生火與剋火兩者成為火難情節不可或缺的物質要件，更進一步探析其形態、功能、意義等面向。從大架構的情節分析，到細部的物質探究，以見《西遊記》的布局構思與物質書寫。

In this paper, through arrange ＂Journey to the West.＂ A total of eight times fire catastrophe episode in the ＂problem-solving＂ the next big structure, because of the emergence and lost treasures have different plot development. Between things because ＂allelopathy＂ generated links, making the plot a chain, but also paving the way to become the key to push the plot. ＂Journey to the West＂ the fire catastrophe spindles, solid by the Monkey King, Lao and ＂The eight trigrams furnace＂ three interactive born, and then spawned a series of ＂god＂, ＂devil＂ battle of wits between the rivalry. The title of the book apart from the fire is difficult to observe the distribution of the number back, it shows the frequency varies, the structural arrangement more than a carefully place. And after eight hard substances in the fire, according to their produce is divided into three categories: human fire, fire treasure, magic fire. In a different category, and its function are generated in a fire caused by the attack or hinder. Face the fire catastrophe, consequential substance enemy fire, fire become fire both difficult and indispensable material elements of the plot, further exploration its form, function and meaning-oriented. From the analysis of the large structure of the plot, to explore details of the matter to see ＂Journey to the West＂ layout ideas and writing materials.
