Kinmen is located in the outlying islands, and its ability and willingness to use emerging mobile payment services may not be as good as those of Taiwan. This study explores the factors that affect the use of mobile payment services in outlying islands, finds out the causal relationship between the selection criteria through literature research and DEMATEL decision laboratory analysis, discusses the willingness to use mobile payment services and puts forward improvement suggestions. According to the literature review, three main criteria and 13 sub-criteria of convenience, safety and use incentives are summarized. Through physical questionnaires, it was distributed to people in Kinmen who have been in contact with mobile payment services or who are interested in them to fill in, and a total of 120 valid questionnaires were recovered. The research results show that criteria such as convenience, popularity of support rate, user personal information and early adopter value have a greater influence than other criteria. Among them, convenience factor is the most important criterion to affect consumers, and criteria such as user personal information and early adopter value are the most important criteria. It is second only, and the criteria such as usage incentives, user-friendly interface, quota limit, and compliance with groups have relatively little influence. In the future, when implementing mobile payment services, the convenience factor can be a key reference factor for relevant industry.
