Questionable Issues in a Scientometrics paper

On 17 December 2020, the Hungarian journal Scientometrics published a Retraction Note to ＂Bibliometric study of Electronic Commerce Research in Information Systems & MIS Journals＂, which is resulted from the fact that ＂there are concerns with respect to the reliability of the data presented.＂ (Lin, A.J., Hsu, CL. & Chiang, CH., 2021). These concerns were raised by us in the manuscript SCIM-D-17-00751 submitted to Scientometrics on 28 August 2017. Now we find similar issues in another paper ＂A bibliometric study of SSME in information systems research,＂ We believe that it is our obligation to raise these issues and to inspire global Academia to place greater trust in the integrity of Taiwanese academics.

匈牙利期刊《科學計量》在2020年12月17日發布撤除論文〈資訊系統與資訊管理期刊的電子商務研究文獻算量分析〉，撤除理由是研究資料的可靠度令人質疑。該質疑由我們在2017年8月28日向期刊主編提出手稿SCIM-D-17-00751。現在，我們發現相同疑慮出現在同一期刊的另一篇論文〈資訊系統研究的資訊科學、資訊管理與資訊工程文獻算量分析〉。我們秉持相同信念，揭發學術爭議，希冀導致全球學術界因此對台灣學者的誠信賦予更大的信任。
