超額教師在學校新環境適應困擾的影響因素:階層線性模式分析

The Factors Influencing Surplus Teachers' Maladjustment in the New Schools: An Analysis of Hierarchical Linear Modeling

摘要


「超額教師現象」近來成為教育領域工作者相當重視的一項議題,綜觀國內有關超額教師的研究成果大多僅在探討超額教師個人背景變項對適應困擾的差異之影響,然而哪些因素可能影響這樣的機制並不清楚。因此,本研究以Lazarus理論為基礎,使用階層線性模式進行資料分析,探討個體層次及總體層次對超額教師適應困擾的影響。研究對象為全臺灣地區的超額教師,從79間學校回收有效問卷465份。研究結果顯示,在個體層次上超額教師的背景變項及因應方式對於適應困擾有顯著的影響,而總體層次的超額介聘意願對於適應困擾的影響顯著,但無調節效果。針對上述結果,本研究提出相關的討論與建議。

The phenomenon of surplus teachers is a crucial issue in education. In Taiwan, studies on surplus teachers mostly focused on how personal background variables influenced their possible maladjustment. However, the mechanisms behind the differences in maladjustment are not yet clear. This study is based on the theory of Lazarus, using hierarchical linear models for data analysis to explore the individual and overall level of surplus teachers' adjustment.The subjects came from 79 schools, 465 usable questionnaires were collected. The results showed that on an individual level, surplus teacher's background variables and coping strategies for maladjustment have a significant impact, while the overall level of willingness in employment causes significant distress, but was no moderation effect. In response to these findings, the study puts forward some discussions and recommendations.
