The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of elderly physical activity for life satisfaction. The questionnaire investigation was adopted by physical activity and life satisfaction scale for the elderly. This research subjects were elderly who used some places like community, church, temple and school in Pingtung City. In all to send out 260 questionnaires by purposive sampling, and 192 effective questionnaires were collected. All collected data were processed with descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product moment correlation analysis, and Scheffe method, setting the significant level at p< .05. The results were found as following: (1) Elderly physical activity inclined toward not enough, major to take a walk and easier housework. (2) Elderly life satisfaction inclined toward satisfaction, and the Emotional connotation to the highest (3) There were significant correlation between physical activity and life satisfaction (4) The high activity group performs significant better than low activity group in life satisfaction.
