This research uses science activity related picture books to carry out classes with children. The research studies are the children at the Pingtung County, Woodside Township, Fairy Tale Kindergarten that were affected seriously by the 88 flood. There were a total of four activities carried out. The ”Observation outline”, drawn up by researches, was used to observe the learning emotions of children during the activity process and explore the children's display of emotional behavior. The results are the following: During the activity process the interaction between the children and teacher are great, which builds up a safety feeling for the children. Not only does this abundance and interesting learning experience allow the children to forget their traumatized experience, this picture book learning makes the children want to learn, enhances the friendship between the children, brings positive thoughts to the children and induces the children to face new things with courage and activeness. In general, this research will propose relative suggestions to the future researchers and education practitioners for reference.
