The Effects of Exercise Training to the T4 Numbers and T4/T8 Ratio of HIV Carriers and Exercise Prescription

Regular and adequate exercise could enhance immunity for healthy people. It is unknown for HIV carrier. It needs more studies to know the effects on immunity to design proper exercise prescription. The changes of cardiopulmonary and endocrine system redistribute the number of leukocytes and lymphocyte during exercise. The exercise prescription of HIV carriers are designed which should be base on how lymphocytes change. The article reviews literatures about acute and chronic exercise study to confer on the effects of T4 amount and T4/T8 ratio. In light of studies, chronic aerobics resulted in no cardiopulmonary, metabolic, orthopedic, or neurologic problem. Regular and adequate exercise could increase the fitness of cardiopulmonary and muscle, and life quality in HIV carrier. More T4 numbers before exercise, regular workout can promote more T4 numbers. HIV carriers not only are followed by medical treatment on the regular basis, but keep active lifestyle to promote fitness.
