The purpose of this research was to understand university students’ attitude toward life and to explore the differences according to individual background and environmental experiences variables. The subjects were students from an university, surveyed by using Life Attitude Profile as instrument with cluster sampling and stratified random sampling method. There were total 693 valid questionnaires. The subjects’ life attitude showed a positive tendency. The highest factor was "will to meaning", and the lowest was "existential vacuum". These subjects’ religion, experiences with life and death, life education, family talking about death, contacts with media messages about death, and experiences with violent video games made different life attitude. Finally, based on these results and discussions, this research provided some conclusions and suggestions for life education.
