The purpose of this research was to explore the job satisfaction of MIS Members in the public elementary and junior high schools in Kaohsiung as well as the difference between variables of personal background (gender, age, marital status, and specialties) and those of working background (types of schools, years of teaching, posts, years of assuming MIS Members, school scales, lecture hours, subjects of teaching, whether they held other concurrent administrative posts, and whether they were MIS Members). A survey research on MIS Members in the public elementary and junior high schools in Kaohsiung was conducted by questionnaire administration. 121 copies of questionnaire were sent out, of which 100 were returned effectively. The collected data were statistically analyzed by frequency distribution, percentile, standard deviation, mean, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Finally, based on the results, some concrete and related suggestions are proposed for school administration, teaching, and future research.
