On campus, volleyball activities help students not only access to physical and mental satisfaction in the relaxed, pleasant and slightly exciting atmosphere, but also cultivate the regular habit of exercise to improve the physical fitness. Thus, promoting volleyball is one of the most important tasks for physical education teachers. However, the development of exercise habits must go through a series of complex and dynamic processes of behavior changes. The reason of do exercising varies from student to student. Also, students might stop or start exercising due to different causes. The only way of coming up with a suitable strategy to help students participate in doing exercise is to understand changes deeply. Therefore, this paper aims to elaborate on five stages of change and ten proceses of change in Transtheoretical Model (TTM). Finally, there will be some practical methods proposed to every stage of change, which could be the reference to physical education teachers.
