學生參與社區發展工作之行動研究

Action Research on Students' Participating in Community Development Work

摘要


研究目的:本研究以行動研究法,藉著社區工作實務課程,了解學生學習歷程、困境、與因應方式,並檢視如何藉此,達到社區工作教育、社區發展和培力的目標。研究結果:1. 第一階段在於參訪典範社區,進駐社區整理評鑑資料。行動盤整期為了釐清前階段問題和進行充權。第二階段則依據改善後的狀況重新投入。2. 第一階段困境在於社區資料之收集及製作相對貧乏,雙方對課程投入的目的有認知落差。研究者將方案導入盤整期後,第二階段工作漸順暢,成員搭便車的問題在運用自我評估和組內互評方式得以克服。3. 行動研究強調參與者的行動,師生共同面對困境,以社區實務工作的方式,達到社區工作教育目的。社區也學到各種方法與技巧,社區培力的目標得以達成。

The purpose of this study is to understand the students' learning process, predicament and coping style. We examine how the team of teachers and students achieve community work education, community development, and community training through a community work practice curriculum. Research Methods: An action research method was used, taking teaching service as the action program. Faculty are the initiative actors, while students are the main body. Initially, The cycle of action research is divided into two stages. The first stage is to understand the meaning of community work, plan curricula, visit the model community, and establish a station to help the community prepare for evaluation. The consolidation phase prior to the second stage clarifies any problems arising in the first phase and facilitates empowering the students. Based on the improvements defined in the first stage, students re-enter the community. Secondly, the predicament of the first stage lies in the fact that there is a gap concerning cognition and communication between the two sides. The entire curriculum action research program is therefore brought into the consolidation period As the students work more effectively in the second stage, they find team members' free-rider problems, which are overcome by self-assessment and intro-group peer assessment. Finally, the Action Research course focuses on the participants' actions, with teachers and students interacting closely. Conclusion: This course aims to achieve the goal of community work education by way of community work practice. Community team members learn from the university students about community development and cultivate community skills. Consequently, the goal of community empowerment can be achieved. The core of action research lies in the mutual understanding and mutual trust of all the actors and through a high level of trust the whole action research can achieve the highest effect.
