This work investigates the needs and design of the senior toy based on intergenerational interaction as well as the analysis of senior toy patent. Senior citizens not only to use the senior toy to enhance their quality of life but also to increase their affirmation and confidence so as to reinforce interpersonal communication and interaction through the senior toy. During the process of senior toy design, it is also necessary to carry out cross-domain approach which is to integrate science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics into integrated design and development. As a result, the demand of modification in detailed functions or the workflow might be reduced more than before.
