玩具與兒童息息相關,但多數研究較偏重於傳統玩具方面而較少互動玩具的相關研究。本研究試圖將體感遊戲的概念加入到玩具之中,使玩具成為可以與人、與電腦溝通的中介。研究之重點在於應用感測技術與體感互動裝置,可讓兒童簡單組裝、任意把玩。互動玩具之設計可使兒童以身體大肢段進行遊戲,以增進多元智能,並藉此提升互動玩具的價值與功能。本研究將多元智能概念導入至玩具設計,並結合互動體感遊戲的概念,以整合資訊內容、體感遊戲與實體玩具三種不同媒材,進行互動玩具的設計與開發,以期達到「玩具即互動輸入裝置」的概念,經由設計原則的彙整及分析,設計並實做「組合式體感互動系列玩具」。本研究成果之體感遊戲與互動玩具,能使兒童藉由活動肢體玩樂的過程,得到學習的效果。
The purpose of this research is to emphasize on the concept of integrating computer and interactive technologies to toys for children. While most researches focus on tradition toys, this research intend to apply sensing devices and computer vision to toys to diversify the functions and interactions of toys. The toys we developed can help children to build their multiple intelligences thru the interaction that children use the toys as input device to interact with computer games. Principles of developing educational toys and human-computer interface are extracted and put into the design of our interactive toys. The result of our research indicates that children have fun in playing the interactive toys thru physical movement of body and limbs which can not be achieved by traditional toys and interfaces
