高雄旗山產業變遷與地方性塑造過程

採用文獻分析法，以旗山史地背景回顧產業，由資料得知過去優勢，分析現況發展遠景，在時空變遷下理解聚落發展脈絡。2010年12月25日高雄縣市合併後，除原市區外增加鄉、鎮等非都市地帶，有些具獨特性，例如近山區之旗山，曾對台灣經濟發展具有貢獻，雖榮景不再，然就均衡城鄉發展，值得探討。研究旗山產業變遷，盼找到地方特性之重塑方向，是本文兩大目的，日治三大農作：稻、蔗、蕉；完整的基礎建設：電廠、糖廠、鐵道、水利灌溉設施等，以及街屋仿巴洛克式建築，呈現繁華生活。1960年代以旗山為代表之台蕉，占日本市場高達85％，為全台外匯收入的1/3。旗山之優勢與價值，在於地理樞紐與隘口處，「糖」與「蕉」的高產值提升經濟力，造就有質感地景，塑造獨特的地方性。

Literature analysis was adopted herein, by reviewing Cishan's history and industries, this study collects relevant data to understand its competitive advantages in the past, analyze its status-quo, and provide advice for future development. Through an exploration of its spatial changes over time. December 25,2010, the consolidation of its city and county, Kaohsiung covers a broader area with townships in addition to the downtown area. Some of the townships are unique and significant to Kaohsiung, such as Cishan. Originally a township sitting by mountains and currently a district after the consolidation, Cishan used to be a driving force in boosting the economy of Taiwan. Although Cishan no longer boasts the prosperity it once did, Cishan is still worthy of research and rejuvenation for the purpose of bridging the gap in urban-rural development. Through in-depth exploration of the changes of Cishan industry, and also hope to find the direction of reshaping the local characteristics of Cishan, which are the two main objectives of this article.Japanese Taiwan, three major types of agricultural produce in Cishan: rice, sugarcane and bananas. Moreover, the complete sugar industry infrastructure and bunches of Baroque buildings bore testimony to the prosperity of Cishan. In the 1960s, bananas produced in Cishan once comprised an 85% market share in Japan, and earned 1/3 of Taiwan's foreign income. Cishan's location advantage and location value lies in its geographic hub and by pass characteristics. The high output value of the ＂Sugar Industry＂ and the ＂Banana Kingdom＂ enhances the economic strength, and also creates a distinctive and textured historical landscape, shaping the unique locality of Cishan.
