摘要

人自遠古時代就一直在追求與天溝通的夢想，透過各種方法發展可以登高的技術，讓世人更加接近上天，自聖經裡人類建築巴別塔而想登天的故事，到近代世界各地交相競逐的建蓋超高層摩天大樓，一場代表權勢、經濟實力的高度象徵，許多國家、企業集團不惜投下巨大資金，總想創造世界第一高的巨塔。登高的舉動使摩天大樓高度一直有新的突破，浸瀅在成功地挑戰不可能任務的歡愉中。但追求創新高度的夢想實現下，超高層摩天大樓也衍生許多環境衝擊的負面影響，這也是人們競逐比高下所必須因應付出的代價。本文即主旨在探討這個追求「高」的概念的由來、實現高的發展歷程，以及高樓所衍生的問題等，並由現今世界最高的超高層摩天大樓談起，在檢視臺灣目前現況，以文獻回顧的方式，綜合解析超高層摩天大樓的發展歷程。

People were pursuing the dream what contact with sky from the ancient times. They intended to be near to sky through developing various techniques of ascending a height. The phenomenon could be verified from the Bible story what people wanted to be close to sky by building the ”Babel” to the competition of building skyscrapers in many places of the world. The competition means the success of economy powers in these countries. Many countries and enterprises invested in large amounts of money to build the highest high-rise of the world. These investments cause the height of high-rise to be broken time after time. But the competition of high-rise caused many environmental problems in the dream what breaking the height record came true. These problems are the pay for height competition of high-rise. The article describes the origin of ”high” concept pursing, the context of ascending a height and the problems which are derived from high-rises. It started the investigation from the highest high-rise of the world and reviewed the current status in Taiwan. By the way, the article also researched the development context of skyscrapers by the way of reviewing bibliographies.
