高雄縣壽齡國小民俗體育發展(1995-2007)

Research on the Development of Folk Sports in Kaohsiung County So Lin Elementary School(1995-2007)

摘要


本研究旨在探討高雄縣壽齡國小民俗體育之發展,藉以呈現出壽齡國小在推動民俗體育之歷程及現況,再加以討論跳鼓陣及舞龍消失的原因。本文採文獻分析法及訪問法,將蒐集之文獻資料加以整理、分析與歸納與考證後,初步整理呈現之結果如下:1.林校長丁福成立民俗體育的動機:(一)社團多元化,讓學生能學習多樣化,豐富學生課程活動。(二)發揚及保存傳統民俗體育文化。(三)發展學校特色,校譽日隆。(四)增加學校與社區之公共關係。(五)推行友善校園,使低成就或行為偏差學生能獲得榮譽。2.壽齡國小先後成立民俗體育有:跳鼓陣、廣東獅、舞龍、台灣獅。3.跳鼓陣及舞龍沒落的原因:跳鼓陣是擊鼓及跳躍為表演內容,講求動作靈巧,也需消耗許多體能。在校訓練跳鼓陣時,學生個個累得大汗淋漓,讓學生感受較為辛苦,學生也漸漸的降低參加的意願。其次,家長擔心學生參與後,會影響學業或行為偏差。第三為學校多項社團成立,造成社團之重複學生太多,練習時造成不便。舞龍訓練時較為辛苦,學生漸漸降低參加的意願,導致校方招收不到學生,加上舞龍所需要的學生較多,大約十多人至二十多人,因此打住舞龍的活躍。以及,訓練及練習時需要之配合度及技巧較高,教學較不易。

The primary goal of this study is to examine the implementation of folk sports at So-lin elementary school in Kaohsiung County; then the process as well as the current condition of the implementation were presented to discuss the reasons why the folk sports, drum-jumping and dragon dance, were on the decline. A questionnaire and analysis of related literature were adopted for the study. After that, the literatures on the subject were collected and analyzed to make the conclusions. The major findings of this study are described below: 1. There were five motives for principal Fu-cheng Ding to form the folk sports teams: (a) to make students learn more things not in the curriculum because of the diversified extracurricular activities, (b) to promote and preserve the traditional folk arts and culture, (c) to develop the school's characteristics and enhance glory, (d) to increase the public relationships between the school and the community, and (e) to execute the policy of friendly campus and make students with low achievement or bad behavior get honor as well. 2. The folk sports teams in So-lin elementary school founded one after another including drum-jumping, Cantonese lion dance, dragon dance and Taiwanese lion dance. 3. There were some reasons why the folk sports, drum-jumping and dragon dance, were on the downgrade. First, the performance of drum-jumping consisted of drum beat and jump, which emphasizes nimble motion and consumes lots of energy; all students felt tired out to be given the training of drum-jumping at school and they gradually lost interests to join the folk sports. Second, many parents worried that joining folk sports teams would affect their children's academic performance and resulting in misbehavior. Third, at school, there were some extracurricular activity teams recruiting the same students, and the condition brought about great inconvenience of training. As far as dragon dance was concerned, it was a hard job for the students to be given the training; thus, they just lost the desire to join the folk sports and the situation make folk sports teams at school difficult to recruit new members. In addition, the folk sport, dragon dance, needed a plenty of students (10 to 20 or so); for this reason, dragon dance was downfallen. Moreover, it was difficult to implement the teaching of folk sports because of the deficiencies of high skills and cooperation in training and practice.
