高強度運動對白血球細胞粒線體膜電位及細胞計畫性凋亡累積性的影響

Accumulative Effects of High Intensities Exercise on Leukcyte Mitochondrial Transmembrane Potential and Propensity of Apoptosis

摘要

The variation of immune function in human body is affected by the intensity of exercise, the change in leukocyte mitochondrial transmembrane potential (MTP) and the propensity of apoptosis. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of intensive aerobic exercise on MTP and accumulative effect of apoptosis. Twelve endurance athletes were chosen. The average age was 21.1±1.8 years old, height 171±3.6cm, weight 61.4±7.3kg and maximum oxygen assimilation capacity,71.9±ml/kg/min. The subject went on the treadmill at the exercise intensity of 85% VO2max for 30 min and continued aerobic exercise for a 3 consecutive days. Flow cytometry was used to measure the ratio of polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMN) and the ratio of Iymphatic apoptosis and the change of MTP on the first and third days before and after running on the treadmill Results showed that in the athletes run at 85% exercise intensity, the ratio of polynuclear leukocyte apoptosis apparently increase from 34.4 to 72.6% (p<0.05) at the third day of exercise polymorphonuclear, mononuclear and Iymphatic MTP all evidently reduced from 100% to 43.6% (p<0.05). From these finding we drew the following conclusion: Continuous highly intensive aerobic exercise can accumulatively affect the MTP of the athletes. The variation of leukocyte MTP can be used as a marker of reduced immune function caused by over-exercise.
