The Effects of Physical Fitness and Skill Fitness with 15-Weeks Aerobic Dance for Female

Aerobic dance is more popular owing to the increasing of people participated in it. It has been showed that aerobic dance can increase cardiorespiratory functions, flexibility, carving body shape...and so on. A lot of kinds of sports use aerobic dance for their training programs, for instance, Tae-Kwon-Do, CBA, tennis...etc. However, we haven't seen much studies focused on the effects of skill fitness with aerobic dance.The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of physical fitness and skill fitness after 15-weeks aerobic dance courses. There are 37 healthy volunteer females for the subjects, and they participated in the designed aerobic dance courses for 15 weeks, twice a week, 60mins per time. We measured some fitness factors including BMI, sit to reach; 30 seconds sit up; 1 minute sit up; 20 seconds shuttle run, single foot standing with c1osed-eye, standing jump; and 3-minutes step on the first(pre-test) and 15th(post-test) week. The results were as followed:1. In physical fitness, muscular strength (30 seconds sit up), muscular endurance (1 minute sit up), and cardiorespiratory (3-minutes step) were improved significantly (p<.01). BMI and flexibility (sit to reach) were not reach the significant.2. In skill fitness, balance (single foot standing with closed-eye) and agility (20 seconds shuttle-run) were improved significantly (p<.01). Power (standing jump) was increasing, but didn't reach the significant.
