教練轉型領導行為對拔河運動員成就目標、運動參與動機與組織承諾之結構模式

Structural Equation Model of Coaches Transformational Leadership Behavior on Tug of War Athletes' Achievement Goals, Sport Motivation and Organization Commitment

摘要


本研究目的是探討教練轉型領導隊拔河運動員成就目標、運動動機與組織承諾之結構模式。研究參與者為98年全國體委盃拔河錦標賽之男、女選手,總人數287人,其中男選手210名、女選手77名。研究工具包括「教練轉型領導行為量表」、「運動參與動機量表」、「運動員成就目標量表」及「運動員組織承諾量表」。資料蒐集完成後,以簡單相關及結構方程模式(SEM)進行統計分析,研究結果如下:一、轉型領導能有效預測成就目標、運動動機與組織承諾。二、成就目標能有效預測運動動機與組織承諾。三、運動動機能有效預測組織承諾。四、本研究所提出的結構模式與實徵觀察資料尚稱適配。運動員所知覺教練表現轉型領導行為愈多,運動員成就目標、運動員參與動機與運動員組織承諾也愈高,因此教練轉型領導確實是教練應具備的專業素養;教練在指導運動團隊練習時,不能只著眼於技術上的訓練與比賽上的勝負,更要有前瞻性的遠見。

The purpose of the study was to investigate the structural equation modeling of transformational leadership behavior of coaches to tug of war athletes' achievement goals, sport motivation and organization commitment. The research participants were 210 males and 77 females, total 287 athletes of 2009 National Taiwan Sports Affairs Council Cup Tug of War Championship. The research tools include ”coach transformational leadership scale,” ”sport motivation scale,” ”athlete achievement goals scale,” and ”athlete organization commitment scale.” Data obtained in this study were analyzed by correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM), and the major findings were as follows: 1) transformational leadership had strong prediction on achievement goals, sport motivation, and organization commitment. 2) achievement goals had efficient prediction on sport motivation and organization commitment. 3) sport motivation had efficient prediction on organization commitment. 4) the structural equation model of this research was adaptive to the data collected from actual competitions. In conclusion, the more athletes' awareness of coach's transformational leadership was, the higher athletes' achievement goals, sport motivation, and organization commitment were. Therefore, transformational leadership was certainly a professional literacy every coach should possess. When instructing a team practicing, a coach could not only focus on training skills and victory or defeat, but should hold insightful foresight to lead the athletes.
