大專排球選手知覺教練領導行為與運動自信心來源之關係

Relationships between Perception of Coach's Leadership Behavior and Source of Confidence in Sports for University Volleyball Players

摘要


本研究旨在探討大專排球選手知覺教練領導行為與運動員自信心來源關係。研究對象以98年參加大專排球聯賽女子公開組前三級之代表隊伍,共取得545位有效樣本。研究工具為「轉型領導量表」、「家長式領導量表」、「運動自信心來源量表」。回收之樣本依研究目的以皮爾遜積差相關及多元迴歸等統計方式進行分析。重要結果歸納如下:一、知覺教練領導行為與運動自信心來源有相關存在,其中以轉型領導的「個人魅力影響」對自信心來源的「專業能力」相關最高。二、轉型領導在運動自信心來源上有較高的預測力。因此,教練訓練選手時,可試圖將東西方的領導行為加以整合運用,期望選手在運動表現上能更加優異。

The purpose of this research was to investigate university volleyball players' perceived coach's leadership behavior, sources of confidence in sports taking into account different background variables and their correlation with the predicted outcome. The object of the study were participates in the 2009 Women's University Volleyball League taken from the first level, second level and third levels, This research used the questionnaire survey procedure, altogether obtaining 545 effective samples. Three scales were used as a research tool, the first was the ”Transformational Leadership Scale” the second was the ”Paternalistic Leadership Scale” and the third was the ”Sports-Confidence Scale”. Information collected from the survey was then analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation, stepwise multiple regression etc. in accordance with the study's objective. The results are as follows: 1. A correlation exists between the athletes' perception of the coaches' leadership and their confidence levels. The highest correlation is between the coaches' perceived charisma and the athletes' level of confidence. 2. The study concluded that the coaches' perceived transformational leadership was the best predictor for sports-confidence, therefore when coaches are training athletes, they should utilize different leadership styles and integrate them into training. In this way, hopefully they will be able to achieve even better performance.
