한국어의 구개음화 현상에 대한 연구－한국어 한자음＜ㅈ．ㅊ＞구개음화의 발생 시기와 조건을 중심으로
A Study on Palatalization in Korean Language-Focusing on Investigating of <ㅈ·ㅊ> When Chinese Characters Were Transferred into Korean-Chinese Characters
摘要
본 논문의 연구 목적은 한국어 구개음화 현상에 있어서 전설모음 /ㅣ/와 경구개자음이 조음 음성학적．음향 음성학적 특성을 공유하고 있음을 논증하고, /ㅣ/역행동화와 구개음 화와의 상관성에 대한 음운론적 설명 방법을 제시하는 것이다.본 논문의 내용과 연구 방법은 음성．음운학 측면에서 오늘날 이미 구개음화된 한국어 낱말들을 대상으로 그 음운 동화 생성의 원리와 조건을 분류．비교하는 과정에서 보이는 역사적 시대성과 한국어 자모의 조음상의 특질과 한계성을 제시해 본다. 더불어 구개음 화 현상은 고유한 한국어 낱말에서 뿐만 아니라, 중세기 한글 창제 후의 중국어 한자음 中國語漢字音의 한국어 한자음韓國語漢字音 한글 표기로의 전이轉移 과정에서 있어서도 전설 모음 /ㅣ/ 혹 /반모음ㅣ[j]/와 경구개자음 간의 동화 현상인 구개음화가 발생되었으리라 추측해 논증해 본다. 그 연구 방법은 분류법과 비교법을 근간으로 분석법과 귀납법을 채택하였다.

Palatalization occurs not only in Korean but also in other languages, which is an assimilation phenomenon. It plays an important role in historical linguistic.This paper takes Palatalization or palatalisation as the subject from phonetics and phonological aspects. We categorize and compare the phonemes and its assimilation development and try to describe the characteristic and constrains in Korean orthographies diachronically.The author suspects that the Palatalization not only occurs in Korean's original lexicon. After the Korean orthography was created in the middle century, in order to combine the nature of Korean phonological system, Korean orthography was derived from Chinese characters by transplantation. The front vowels assimilate to the palatal consonants, turning out palatalisation. The author attempts to argue for the above proposal and confirm whether the criterion is based on standard Korean. The author does not intend to consider the above phenomenon as a residue of the history. Korean charac -ters are supposed to mark other languages if no phonetic transcription in their system.Thus, this paper aims to analyze the front vowels and palatal consonants from several aspects, such as acoustic, auditory, and articulation. We may compare and category those phonemes, yielding a way to describe the phenomenon where the Palatalization or palatalisation comes from Chinese phonetics transforming into Korean ones.
