台灣小說中新移民女性形象的形構

The Formation of New Female Immigrants' Images in Taiwanese Novels

摘要


台灣自八○年代起,有大量來自東南亞(越南、印尼、泰國、菲律賓及柬埔寨)及大陸地區的「婚姻移民」,然而,台灣目前關於跨國婚姻的研究主題多集中於以下兩種:一是人口移動的研究,另一是成人教育的研究,對於文學創作中以新移民女性為主題的研究尚屬缺無。因此筆者以吳柳蓓《移動的裙擺》(2010)、曾心怡《妮娜—來自南洋的妯娌》(2008)、馬尼尼為《帶著你的雜質發亮》(2013)其中形構新移民女性形象,包含失語的母親、嬌妻巧媳及現代版「瘋婦」等,探求這些新移民女性形象的形構,尤其在家庭中所扮演的角色與不同族群父權社會的妥協與抗衡,並反思作家的所在場域與角色建構的關係。

Since 1980s, there have been a large number of "marriage-based immigrants" moving from Southeast Asia ( Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Cambodia) and Mainland China to Taiwan. Current studies on transnational marriage in Taiwan focus mainly on two fields: one on population movement; the other on adult education. Nevertheless, there is limited research concerning the New Female Immigrants appeared in literary works. This essay explores the characterization of different new female immigrants in Pepe Wu's (吳柳蓓) The Moving Skirt (2010) ,Xinyi Zeng's (曾心怡)Nina: Sister-In-Law from Southern Ocean (2008), and Wanwen Lin's (林婉文) Shine with Your Impurity (2013) , including the aphasia mother, sweet wife and neat daughter-in-law, and modern "madwomen."I focus on the counterbalance and negotiation between the roles these characters play in the family and the patriarchal authority in a different culture, and also reflect upon the relationship between the characterization and the field of the writers dwell in.
