警察人員情緒勞務之訪談研究-以高雄市政府警察局為例討

A Study of Emotional Labor of Police: A Case Study on Police in Kaohsiung City

摘要


警察屬於「高情緒勞務工作職務」中的「保護性工作者」之一,相關研究發現,由於警察工作的特性,警察人員常有情緒勞務超荷的現象。本研究選取九位高雄市警察局不同職階的員警進行半結構性訪談,並依紮根研究法的精神及技巧進行分析;研究分析後的故事線,呈現出的現象為警察工作中「與情緒相關事務」與「影響警察情緒之相關壓力」兩者皆會形成「情緒勞務」的負荷;若日積月累造成「情緒勞務」超荷,則會「影響心理衛生」,有害心理健康。

Police is one of the protective service workers of the high emotional labor in the workplace. Related research findings illustrated police had excess emotional labor in their routine duty owing to the demand of the job. This study has selected 9 different rank officers with semi-structured interviews in Kaohsiung police bureau and the data has also carefully analyzed by grounded theory. In our story line based on our findings, there would display emotional depression related matters influenced by their routine job and related pressure influenced by police emotions. Those two influences will result into emotional labor overload. If this kind of emotional labor deteriorated day by day, it would endanger the mental health.
