新竹縣社區體育發展之現況調查－以竹北市與竹東鎮為例

摘要

本研究針對新竹縣教育處體健科於2010年7月回收之「99年各縣市政府執行「打造運動島計畫暨相關專案實施方案」之資料，藉由分析人數、性別、年齡、運動種類、活動場所、活動時間等變項，探討新竹縣前後兩個縣政府所在地－新興城鎮竹北市與舊式城鎮竹東鎮之社區體育發展現況，從中探討出適合新竹縣社區體育發展策略，促進「潛在性運動人口」，成?「自發性運動人口」；使「個別型運動人口」，成?「團體型運動人口」，增加規律運動人口及提升國民體質，達到人人愛運動、處處能運動、時時可運動之樂活環境。結果顯示竹北市與竹東鎮社區民眾社區體育參與時間以181-360分鐘及361-540分鐘?最多，運動時段以早上最多民眾參與，其次?凌晨、下午、晚上。舞蹈類活動較受社區民眾接受與歡迎，球類運動次之，其中以棒壘球較受民眾青睞。不同背景變項之社區民眾在社區體育參與上之差異，性別上兩地均?女性多於男性，若配合居住環境變相，竹東鎮的男女比例較竹北市的懸殊。年齡上兩地均?男性平均年齡低於女性，若配合居住環境變相，竹東鎮不論男女性的平均年齡均較竹北市高。職業上竹北市參與社區體育人數前3名職業?家管、工業、商業；而竹東鎮前三名?家管、退休、自由。兩地均以家庭主婦?社區體育最多參與人口之職業。

On basis of the relevant materials of ”The Plan of Building a Sports Island and its Execution Strategy by Municipal Governments in 1999”, this thesis attempts to analyze the current status of the development of sports in residential areas of Zhubei, a new city, and Zhudong, an old town. Its ultimate target is to find out an appropriate strategy for developing sports in residential areas of Xinzhu County and to promote the ”potential sports population” to be ”initiative sports population” and ”individual sports population” into ”collective sports population”. This strategy is supposed to increase regular sports population, improve people's health, and build an atmosphere where everyone loves sports and can do sports anywhere and any time they like. The survey shows that residents who spend 181-360 minutes and 361-540 minutes on sports take up the greatest proportion. The most popular period of time for sports is morning, followed by wee hours, afternoon and evening. The most popular type of sport is dance, followed by ball games, especially baseball and softball. Moreover, residents with different backgrounds behave differently in respect of sports. The number of female sports participants is greater than male participants both in those two regions. With residential environment taken into consideration, the gender disparity of Zhudong Town is greater than that of Zhubei City. The average age of males is lower than that of females. With residential environment taken into consideration, the average age of both males and females in Zhudong is higher than that in Zhubei. As for the occupations of the residents who regularly take exercise, the largest proportion goes to housewives, industrialists, and businessmen in Zhubei and housewives, the retired and the jobless in Zhudong. Housewives turn out to be the main force of sports in residential areas.
