Inflammatory Pseudotumor-Like Follicular Dendritic Cell Sarcoma of Spleen: A Case Report and Literature Review
摘要
Inflammatory pseudotumor (IPT)-like follicular dendritic cell (FDC) sarcoma is a rare malignant splenic lesion. Symptomatic manifestations and abnormal blood test results suggest the need for more aggressive investigations. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) findings, particularly those showing progressive and delayed enhancement of the tumor, may facilitate early diagnosis and proper management by splenectomy. Here we report a novel case of a patient who was pathologically diagnosed as having a splenic IPT-like FDC sarcoma, who presented with an incidental splenic tumor and abnormal blood test results.
