Taditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Abdominal Pain under Chemotherapy of Lung Cancer: A Case Report

摘要

這位59歲女性患者因為肺腺癌第四期（LUL adenocarcinoma左上肺葉腺瘤，T4N3M1 stage IV）而住院化療，患者在注射化療藥物（Gemzar/CDDP）後因出現腹痛、噁心嘔吐、精神倦怠等症狀而會診中醫。中醫診斷為陽明腑實、氣陰兩虛，給以大承氣湯合小建中湯合增液湯加減治療，患者服後腹痛大減，精神好轉，嘔吐改善而獲准出院。

This 59 years old female with lung cancer (LUL adenocarcinoma, T4N3M1 stage IV) was admitted for chemotherapy. However, Abdominal pain with vomitting and fatique was noticed after chemotherapy with Gemzar and CDDP. So, she was consulted to our Taditional Chinese Medicine department for help. After evaluation, we diagnosed her of Yangming Fushi syndrome and deficiency of both qi and yin, so Dachengqi decoction with Xiaojianzhong decoction and Zenyi decoction was prescribed for her. After treatment, abdominal pain with vomitting and fatique was much improved, then she was permitted to diacharge.
