製備DGEBA環氧改質酚醛樹脂複合物及其物性探討

Characterization of DGEBA Epoxy Modified Phenolic Resin Composite

摘要


藉由DGEBA(Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol-A)環氧樹脂與Novolac酚醛樹脂在120℃熱熔融混拌過程,製備出DGEBA環氧改質酚醛樹脂複合材料(EP-PF)。再經由六甲烯基四胺(Hexamine)交聯劑的熱固化作用後,形成一種具有良好的機械強度及疏水性能的樹脂複合材料。從各項分析結果的顯示,隨著環氧樹脂含量增加,在FTIR光譜吸收峰1040cm-1的C-O-C基團逐漸增長,在1361cm-1 O-H基有逐漸消失及變窄的趨勢,因此可顯示環氧樹脂與酚醛樹脂產生醚化鍵結作用。在DSC及TGA熱分析方面,環氧樹脂含量增加有逐漸縮小交聯固化反應,以及降低熱裂解溫度,但是在機械強度及疏水性能有明顯的提高。

In this study, Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol-A (DGEBA epoxy) modified phenolic resin composite (EP-PF) was prepared by using DGEBA epoxy mix with phenolic resin at 120℃. Furthermore, it was formed polymeric composite with an excellent mechanical strength and hydrophobic properties by reacting with hexamine at 180℃. From the results of investigation, with adding DGEBA epoxy into phenolic resin, the peak at 1040cm-1(C-O-C) becomes long gradually, and the peak at 1361cm-1(O-H) becomes short gradually for FTIR. It can be indicated that DGEBA epoxy reacted with phenolic resin to form chemical linkages. On the other hand, although the reaction of cross-linking and thermo-degradation decreased with adding DGEBA epoxy, the mechanical strength and hydrophobic properties of the composite was enhanced significantly.
