The students of the department of architecture, Taoyuan Innovation Institute of Technology have been surveyed to explore the appropriateness for the teaching of the course of Basic Architectural and Interior Design. Survey issues include course operation in classes, the importance of course units, the appropriateness of homework, and students' learning attitude. Studies have shown that the majority of students agree with the implementation of the curriculum. However, course content teaching needs to be more active and applicable and the homework meanings should be easy to understand. Smaller homework creation size is suggested to assign while the learning effectiveness does not be affected. To avoid distrusting and misunderstanding, instructors and students are recommended to communicate with each other in the issue of the seriousness of learning attitude.
