大學新生心理健康量表之研究

A STUDY RESEARCH OF MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING TOOLS FOR FRESHMEN

摘要


本文主要目的在於探討技職校院大學入學新生之心理健康狀況以及心理健康評量工具的適用性,並找出適切的切截分數作為高關懷學生的篩選標準。本研究針對北部某技術學院100-103 學年度入學的大學新生,採用「大學生心理健康量表」以檢測大一新生心理健康狀態,共計4996 人接受施測,取得4703 份有效量表,總回收率為94.1 %。研究結果顯示該校新生心理健康適應情況,高關懷學生比例介於6.61%至10.97%,總平均約10.04%,依測驗結果篩選出高危險群作為優 先關懷追蹤對象;同時,不同性別的大學生在總量表總分及憂鬱分數均呈現顯著差異,女性較男性高。此外,本研究透過探討大學生心理健康量表與台灣人憂鬱 量表的相關性,並以台灣人憂鬱量表為效標,分析大學生心理健康量表在篩檢大學高關懷學生時適當的切截分數,結果發現以憂鬱分量表之百分位數85 分作為切截點最能夠分辨出高關懷組與一般組大專生心理健康之差異狀況。最後,本研究綜合研究結果提出建議與策略。

This study was aimed to investigate freshmen’s mental health status in order to screen high-risk students among freshmen, and to explore the applicability of Mental Health Scale for Undergraduate-Screening Assessment (MHSU-SA) by using Taiwanese Depression Questionnaire (TDQ) as the criterion. Participants were students who entered Taoyuan Innovation institute of Technology between 100-103 academic years. The total sample was 4996 freshmen and 4703 of them completed questionnaires. The respond rare was 94.1 %. Result showed that 6.61%--10.97% of the sample which consisted of 10.04% freshmen were considered at-risk. There is significant difference between male and female college student towards total scale score in MHSU-SA and depression subscales. By comparing the correlation between the MHSU-SA and the TDQ, also using TDQ as the criterion by ROC analysis, this study suggested the optimum cut off point is 85 of depression subscale scale score for counselors. Finally, based on summary of the research, advanced suggestion and discussion were proposed in order to provide appropriate guidance intervention and program evaluation to assist at-risk freshmen.
