以大學新生之健康體適能變化研究

A 2-year Follow-up Study of Physical Fitness in a group of University Freshmen

摘要


研究背景與目的:大學生在大學時期缺乏規律運動,為了解在大學時期,對於學生實行運動介入計畫的時機與重點項目。本研究目的希望由檢驗大學新生以及其一年後的體適能檢測結果,了解大學新生及一年後的體適能狀況,以供將來介入時機以及重點項目之用。 材料方法:以南部某大學96~99學年度一共四個學年度新生共4430名做為研究對象,新生收集的體適能資料為前測,在一年後所檢測得到的資料做為後測,以前後測比較及Mixed models為多變項分析。 結果:前後比較體適能項目中,握力檢測、一分鐘仰臥起坐、坐姿體前彎、立定跳遠前測之平均數(標準差)分別為32.10公斤(8.94)、35.6下/分(9.65)、30.05公分(10.23)、175.88公分(34.28),而後測為33.87公斤(9.97)、36.17下/分(9.95)、30.31公分(10.08)、178.70公分(38.32),Pair T-test檢定分析結果皆顯著(P<0.001)。Mixed models 分析結果也顯示後測較優為前測。 結論:在一年後體適能檢測發現,在握力、立定跳遠、一分鐘屈膝仰臥起坐、坐姿體前彎結果皆優於在一年級時的測量,但在心肺耐力沒有進步,因此計畫重點項目在於心肺耐力部分。

Background and Purpose :Most of freshmen don't have regular exercise habit. We wished to realize the time and key potin to carry out health promotion programs for university students.So The goal of the study is to investigate freshmen's fitness data and their followed up data about 1 year latter. Materials and Methods: We collected 4430 fitness measurement of freshmen from 2007 to 2010. Then in second year, we measured their fitness again.Use of repeated data analysis, we compared the fitness between the first and second years. Results: And then we analyzed data using descriptive statistics, Independent samples tests, and pair-t test with SPSS 19.0 and SAS 9.3. Fitness include strength of grasp, sit ups, sit and reach, and standing long jump, the measurement before health promotion programs mean(SD) were 32.10kg (8.94)、35.6 times/min (9.65)、30.05cm (10.23)、175.88cm (36.28) and after health promotion programs were 33.87kg(9.97)、36.17 times/min (9.95)、30.31cm (10.08)、178.70cm (38.32). The result of mixed models with adjustant of potential confounders showed that fitness of these students were better in the second year. Conclusions: Our result found students' fitness index which in the second year, including strength of grasp, sit ups, sit and reach, and standing long jump was better than the index before the health promotion programs. We estimated a significant association with fitness and health promotion programs. Freshmen's fitness was better than those before, thus we could continue to carry out the health promotion programs for university students.
